“You will receive our full support” – Deadline

Elon Musk is courting other TV news anchors to go to Twitter just like Tucker Carlson after being fired from Fox News.

The Twitter owner shared on the digital platform that he wants to balance the personalities who deliver the news on the social network with left-leaning hosts.

“That would be great to have [Rachel Maddow], Don Lemon and others on the left put their shows on this platform. No exclusivity or legal documents required!” he tweeted Thursday.

Musk continued, “You will receive our full support. The digital square is for everyone.”

The message came after Carlson posted his Twitter show on the platform. This wasn’t the first time Musk suggested Lemon put on a show on Twitter. On May 9, Musk made the suggestion to join the digital space by responding to Lemon’s April 24 statement when he announced that he had been fired by CNN.

“Have you considered doing your show on this platform? Maybe worth a try. The audience is much bigger,” Musk tweeted.

While Lemon has received an invitation to continue delivering the news, the former has CNN this morning co-host doesn’t seem to be in a “hurry” to find a new job.

“I don’t need to rush to another job, even though I want another job,” Lemon said Extra recently. “I do, I want to work again, but I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I don’t have to worry about those things.”

Lemon said he’s “going to spend the summer at the beach and on the boat with my family and just relaxing and I’ll see what happens next.”
