ORIGINAL STORY: Yahoo is suffering from a major downtime this morning with users who cannot access the site or the popular Yahoo Mail service.
Problems began around 7:30 am with thousands of fans who appeared to be blocked from accessing Yahoo or entering their inbox.
When trying to check the main page, users are currently met with the message "This sit e cannot be reached. Www.yahoo.com server IP address was not found."
Down Detector, which monitors power failure on the web, also shows thousands of reports across the UK and the rest of the world.
Problems have been discovered around Europe and parts of the United States.
When he posted messages on the Down Detector forum, one user said, "No Yahoo at all today, but I've never had this before. Anyone know what the problem actually is?"
While one others added: "Yahoo mail that does not work on my iPhone, neither the app nor the website."
Yahoo fans have also taken to social media to vent their frustration with a user posting on Twitter: "Someone who knows if the Yahoo mail is down? It doesn't load for me. "
While another waited:" The whole page is down and I get a & # 39; server not found & # 39; message for any Yahoo address. How the heck can we use your email (which I have had for 20 years) if there is no website? "
There is currently no word on when the problems will be resolved or how long this huge downtime will last , but we will update this article when we find out more.
