BOSTON (AP) – The president of Wynn Resorts & # 39; Boston Casino Casino is retiring just months after it opened.
The Las Vegas company announced Wednesday that Encore Boston Harbor President Robert DeSalvio will be replaced by Brian Gullbrants, who recently headed the food and beverage business at Everett Casino.
DeSalvio has led Encore for five years and hired the $ 2.3 billion project through the construction phase.
Encore opened in late June.
Matt Maddox, CEO of Wynn Resorts, said DeSalvio's ability "to both manage a complicated building process while listening to the needs of key stakeholders was critical to our success."
The company also announced two other management features. Jenny Holaday will join Encore as Executive Vice President for Operations, and Eric Kraus will join as Senior Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs.
