What’s inside McDonald’s new Happy-Meal-inspired box for adults

So you have drawn up to McDonald’s. You are fully grown. You certainly don’t need a toy with your meal, do you?
Just kidding — of course you do.
The fast food chain will soon be selling boxed meals aimed at adults, each with a cool, weird figure inside.
The meal also has a strange name ̵[ads1]1; Cactus Plant Flea Market Box – which is based on the fashion brand that is partnering with McDonald’s on this campaign.
According to McDonald’s, the box is inspired by the memory of enjoying a Happy Meal as a child. The outside of the box is multicolored and has the chain’s well-known golden arches.
The first day you can get a Cactus Plant Flea Market Box will be Monday, October 3rd. Prices are set by individual restaurants and may vary, according to McDonald’s. It will be available in the drive-thru, in the restaurant, on delivery or on the McDonald’s app, while supplies last.
You can choose between a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. It also comes with fries and a drink.
Now about those toys. The boxes will be packed in one of four shapes. Three of the four appear to be artistic variations of the classic McDonald’s characters Grimace, Hamburglar and Birdie the Early Bird, while the fourth is a little yellow guy wearing a McDonald’s shirt called Cactus Buddy.
In other McD’s news, Halloween buckets may return to the chain this autumn. So leave some room in your stomach for a return trip.
