& # 39; Dank & # 39; is definitely not grateful.

Shopping for cannabis waffles? Think twice before inhaling this mark.

Black market cannabis vaping cartridges sold with (fake) "Dank" label figure prominent in the ongoing federal investigation of an outbreak of mysterious, at times fatal lung diseases.

This post was released Monday, September 23, 2019 by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, showing "Dank" packaging from some of the 75,000 THC vaping cassettes seized in a record medical bust in Anoka County, MN.

Dank is a widely-sold illegal product under investigation by investigators trying to find out why so many vapers get sick or die around the United States.

Investigators have not identified a culprit in the outbreak, but say many patients have mentioned using Dank vapes.

From the Associated Press:

Last month, Wisconsin authorities uncovered an illegal weapons cartridge operation that they said produced thousands of cartridges loaded with THC oil every day for nearly two years. Photographs released by the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department showed nicely stacked Dank boxes and cartridges, apparently ready for shipment.

Also last month, Minnesota authorities seized nearly 77,000 THC weapons cartridges, some of which were packed in Dank boxes.

November 2018, Lorain County, Ohio authorities seized four parcels sent from California with individually wrapped and sealed Dank cartridges. They thought that many similar packages were sent to the area earlier.

“Dank Vapes appears to be the most prominent in a largely counterfeit brand, with plain packaging readily available online and used by distributors to market THCs containing cartridges without obvious centralized production or distribution , "states a report from Illinois and Wisconsin officials, and from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Doctors say the illnesses resemble an inhalation injury. Symptoms have included difficulty breathing, fatigue, chest pain, diarrhea and vomiting. [19659013] READ MORE:
