Wash. Government firm remembers £ 30,000 packaged steak
TOPPENISH, Wash. – Washington Beef LLC, a company based on Toppenish, Wash., Recalls about 30,260 pounds of packaged beef products.
The company says the products can be contaminated with foreign materials such as plastic and metal, according to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The company issued the recall on Saturday.
According to the USDA, the packaged meat steak was produced on December 27, 2018, and has a "Use or Freeze by" date January 20, 2019.

The company says a consumer discovered the foreign material and reported to Washington Beef LLC, February 28, 201[ads1]9. The USDA says there have been no undesirable reactions due to using the recalled products.
Anyone who is concerned about injury or illness should contact a health care professional.
Food and Security Service is concerned that some of the recalled products may be frozen in the consumer's freezers.
Consumers who bought the recalled products should not consume them. They must be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
