Walmart in Eastlake closes temporarily while crews clear

EASTLAKE, Ohio (WJW) – A Walmart in Eastlake temporarily closes while a cleaning team comes in and cleans the store.

A third-party cleaning specialist will start the process at 2pm on Saturday at 33752 Vine Street.

They plan to reopen the store for customers at 06.00 on Monday 3 January after store employees fill up with stock on the shelves.

“We will follow the CDC guidelines, which include fully vaccinated individuals who wear masks in public indoor environments in counties with significant or high infection,”[ads1]; the company said in a statement. “In these counties and where there are state or local mask mandates, employees will be required to wear masks inside our facilities, including shops, clubs, distribution centers and fulfillment centers.”

You can find the overview county by county here.

When the store reopens on Monday, the company says it will continue to conduct health assessments of associated individuals, and all unvaccinated employees must still wear face masks.

Aurora Walmart at 7235 Market Place Drive and Sam’s Club at 10250 Brookpark Road are also temporarily closed this week for thorough cleaning.
