Walmart, CVS to stop filling prescriptions with controlled drug for cerebral, finished

CVS health and Walmart will stop filling prescriptions for controlled drugs ordered by clinicians working for Cerebral Inc. and Done Health, the widest curbs to date of large pharmacies against telecommunications companies after reviewing their prescription practices.

A spokesman for CVS confirmed the change, citing concerns with the two companies after a review it conducted. Cerebral had previously revealed the change to The Wall Street Journal. A spokeswoman for Walmart said the retail giant is taking steps to no longer fill out these prescriptions, but did not elaborate on why it made the decision.
