Two employees in an Atlanta area Waffle House have been fired after being seen in a video that put food on a runaway customer and did He seems to be dancing.
The video, which was posted on Instagram, shows workers at a waffle house in Lithonia, Georgia, and put salt, a piece of cheese and ketchup on a man's head resting on the counter. The clip also shows a person who grabs the men's arms and makes him dance.
The customer filed a police report with DeKalb County Police Department on January 7 for single battery.
He told the police that he was "high drunk" when waffle house staff harassed him, according to the report. He said the workers "took their arms and played with them as if he were a doll."
He also told the police that he found the video on the internet and was "very embarrassed."
Waffle House announced the dismissal of the employees involved in the incident on January 2 last week.
"We've been in touch with the customer and have regretted," said Waffle House spokesman Pat Warner in a statement. "When we learned about this event, we launched a survey and terminated the employees involved."
