As billionaire Richard Branson prepares the launch of Virgin Voyages, and the adult cruise ship Scarlet Lady in 2020, the new cruise ship introduced its tropical itineraries and cabins.
The Scarlet Lady will set sail from Miami to the Caribbean with 2,770 passengers ̵
The ship will also sail five-night "Mayan Sol" trips to the Costa Maya, Mexico and five-night "Dominican Daze" itineraries to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The trips will include extended port hours and overnight or a late night sail on all sailings.
The opening season opens for bookings on February 5th for the purchase of deposit and February 14th for everyone else.
"Our research with sailors discovered their desire to go to places that allow for a variety of experiences," said Virgin Voyages, Vice President Diana Block Garcia in a statement. "Our destinations offer a combination of exploration and relaxation opportunities to complement our Virgin Voyage experience."
When it comes to cabinet design on the new ship, each will be equipped with a tailor-made seabed that can transform into a seating area to allow for hanging out with friends, eliminating the difficulty of having any place to sit, but on another's bed.
The lights of 1,330 cabins and 78 RockStar suites will automatically adjust to improve the time of day based on where the ship sails at that time. Officers revealed 93 percent of the cabins would offer ocean views and 86 percent have a terrace.
For those traveling in a group, Scarlet Lady will offer special rooms with four bunkers in the whirlpool. On the other hand, there are also cabins specially designed for single travelers.
