VIDEO: Woman banging on McDonald's after complaining about food
CINCINNATI, Ohio (WLWT / CNN) – A video shows a manager of a McDonald's throwing a blender at a customer after she complained about the food order.
The incident happened last month at a McDonald's in Colerain Township, Ohio and was captured on surveillance video.
Britany Price says made a quick stop on the drive through and ordered Happy Meals for their kids, but the order was messed up.
A video shows her getting into the restaurant with the order while her kids were in the car waiting while other customers come and go. She even filled drinks to kill time.
“I wasn't the only one who got frustrated. You watch the video, we see a lot of people watching me and her talk, trying to solve the problem and they're like, I have nothing to do with this, you know, they just left, they didn't even place the order, ”Price recalled .
After waiting for about 25 minutes, Price went to her car to grab the rest of the order and ask for a refund.
Then she started throwing more bags of food to the boss.
The manager then picked up a blender and threw it on Price, and it wrinkled off her face and hit her in the ground.
Price got a broken cheekbone and a broken nose.
“I had an operation. I have had many doctor appointments, the follow-up. Hard mornings, hard afternoons, ”she told WLWT.
No charges have been brought in the case.
McDonald's issued the following statement about the incident:
The safety of our customers and employees is of utmost importance to us. We are looking into this matter and will take the necessary steps when our investigation is complete. ”
