Video shows a driver who seems to be sleeping in his car and goes 75 miles per hour in a Tesla who is on Autopilot on a Los Angeles highway.
A passenger in a vehicle in the next lane shot and let up the video.
Tesla issued a statement that driver assistant mode increases safety, but is only aimed at a completely attentive driver who has his hands on the wheel and is prepared to take over at any time.
