USAG requires two people to provide shadow path services for cryptographic exchanges; including Bitfinex

Crypto crashes continue.

The US law firm has ordered two people to offer so-called shadow path services to non-named crypto exchange, according to an announcement on April 30.

According to the press release, Ravid Yosef and Reginald Fowler were hit with the cost of "bank fraud and operation of an unlicensed money transfer business." According to a court document filed in the Southern District of New York, the duo opened accounts to transfer funds to crypto swaps under Global Trading Solutions.

As The Block's Larry Cermak first reported this company served as a bank partner with Bitfinex's crypto switch, which was issued a lawsuit recently by the New York Attorney General's Office. In addition, Global Trading Solutions, LLC is also affiliated with Global Trade Solutions AG, the parent company of Crypto Capital, the payment business involved in the previously mentioned Bitfinex lawsuit.
