US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall Street opens higher on optimistic earnings

25. January (Reuters) – US Stocks Open Friday, when optimistic corporate revenues helped fight global economic growth concerns, US government shutdown and US trade and uncertainty about trade negotiations.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 133.97 points, or 0.55 percent, open to 24.687.21. The S&P 500 opened higher with 15.11 points, or 0.57 percent, of 2 657.44.
