US Stocks Fall, Bond Yields Tick Up on Fear of Ukraine War
US stocks opened lower Monday, as investors tried to assess the possibility of a war in Europe.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 99 points, or 0.2%, shortly after the opening bell. The S&P 500 also dropped 0.2% and the Nasdaq Composite declined 0.3%. Stocks fell Friday after US warnings that Moscow could invade Ukraine at any moment.
