US Foods remembers beef and pork in Tennessee
WASHINGTON, (WTVF) – US Foods recalls 712 pounds of raw beef and pork products sent to restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the food was possibly contaminated when an employee cut while handling the food.
All recalled products were produced on 18 July. Reminders of trademarks include warehouse Angus, Cattleman's Selection, Patuxent Farms and SRA.
The recalled meat will have the establishment number "EST. 21[ads1]103" in the USDA tag.
There have been no confirmed reports of reactions or disease caused by the meat.
FSIS says they are concerned that some of the products are already in restaurant freezers and encourage owners not to service them.
