US Charges Autonomy founder with fraud over the Hewlett-Packard Deal

LONDON – The US government has charged one of Britain's most famous technology entrepreneurs with fraud related to his role in a software company Hewlett-Packard purchased for more than $ 11 billion before he found extensive accounting issues.

In criminal prosecutors filed For the US District Court in northern California on Thursday, the prosecutors accused Mike Lynch, the founder and former CEO of Autonomy Corp, and his lieutenants using fake and misleading documents to make the company more attractive to a potential buyer.
