Train stations between London Bridge, Gravesend and Dartford delayed after person hit by train




Commuters in Kent experienced long delays in London after a person was hit by a train.

Lines between London Bridge, Gravesend, Dartford and Rainham were affected by the incident.

Emergency services were called to Dartford station at around noon. 16:00.

A tweet from Southeastern said: "Unfortunately, a person has been hit by a train, and the trains between London Bridge and Dartford are currently being disturbed.

" As soon as we have more information, We provide additional update #SEDisruption. "

A British transport policy spokesman Jordan Bleur said:" At 4.1[ads1]3 am today in Dartford station, we were called to an accident on the tracks.

"Paramedics attended the stage and a man suffered serious injuries.

" Officers are working to establish the circumstances leading to the incident. "

Lines between Dartford and London Bridge are now reopened after the incident, but services on Woolwich, Bexleyheath and Sidcup lines are probably disturbed until the end of the day.
