Ryanair will launch six new routes from Southend Airport this summer.
The new routes mean that the airline will now have a total of 16 services from the airport.
The new routes, launched in April 2020, will serve:
- Venezia Treviso; and
- Vilnius, in Lithuania.
Ryanair's Alejandra Ruiz said: “Since starting our business in London Southend in April, we have shipped more than 650,000 customers, and based on this success to date, we are excited to expand our services at Southend with six new routes for summer 2020.
"Our London Southend Summer 2020 schedule has 1[ads1]6 routes in total, which will deliver 850,000 customers per year and support 635 jobs at London Southend Airport next year."
She added: "London Southend customers and visitors can now book tickets with Europe's greenest / cleanest airline on 16 routes as far as October 2020.
"To celebrate, we are releasing seats for sale from just £ 9.99 for travel through the end of January 2020, which are available to book until midnight on Wednesday, November 2nd."
