Twitter interrupt takes down Tweetdeck, affects images and DMs

Be nice to journalists you see on Twitter right now – Tweetdeck is down and it's a headache for everyone. Although the company has said it is aware of issues and investigations, problems have also hit ordinary users, who are not currently seeing new DMs, or may have trouble adding extra things to tweets such as photos, videos and polls. In a tweet, the company said it was working on a solution and that things "would soon be back to normal."
