The morning after: 5% bounce for GE as a sales page defender – General Electric Company (NYSE: GE)

The charges of Harry Markopolos scams are "at best criticized and at worst inaccurate," said William Blair's Nicholas Heymann. He notes that GE has had a number of regulators looking over its shoulder over the past couple of years, so he finds it hard to believe that the company will fraudulently disclose its numbers (Heymann may not be right, but this reasoning is ridiculous).
