The FDA is reminiscent of dog food when it comes to salmonella concern

MICHIGAN (WJRT) – (09/29/19) – FDA recalls some dog food over salmonella concerns

Agency warns pet owners to stay away from Performance Dog's frozen raw pet food, produced on or after July 22 this year.

Specimens tested positive for salmonella and listeria.

The FDA said that food is a serious threat to both animal and human health.

Dog food has been examined by the agency this year, not over concerns about bacteria, but heart disease.
