The Chipotle leader kicked after refusing to serve black men

A Chipotle leader was kicked this week after a video posted on Twitter showed that employees refused to earn five black men asking them to prove they had the money to pay for their meals before they hit their orders.

The movie, which has been retweeted more than 52,000 times, showed that Chipotle staff continued to earn a white woman without asking her to show "proof of income." When the camera zoomed in on her, an employee said the food would be on the house.

"This is not how we treat our customers. We are committed to treating everyone equally and with respect," Chipotle said in a statement. "The leader has been terminated and we train everyone at the restaurant to ensure that such a thing is not happens again.

According to the company, the manager believed that the men were the same customers as previously ordered and could not pay for their meals.

"Anyway, this is not how we treat our customers," said Chipotle.

The video was taken by 21-year-old Masud Ali, who went to have a snack after "a long workout."

"So Chipotle is going to sit here saying that I can not eat because they think I look like someone stole from them before?" Masud posted on Twitter.
