Tesla's "cyberpunk" pickup plagued in shadowed image

Elon Musk's "one thing" turned out to be a truck. At least part of one, even though we are not sure which ones.

One day after revealing the model Y transition with few surprises to follow it, the Tesla CEO tweeted out a rendition of "cyberpunk truck" his company has in development.

According to Musk, the shady image showing a flat, black rectangular ice form with a thin beam of light was flashing on the screen at the Model Y event while the theme of the original "Blade Runner" was playing in the background. Whether it's a hood, bed or other component, it's unknown, and the improvement of the image doesn't answer any questions.

Musk has previously said that the truck's styling was inspired by the 1982 science fiction classic, and that it is the future vehicle he is most excited about. He tweeted last year that it will place six passengers, "definitely" has a range of 400 to 500 miles, dual-engine all-wheel drive and a self-leveling suspension. He also told Recode that it would contain a "mass of titanium", which is an unusual material for ordinary vehicles, and that he does not know if many will buy it, but that a more conventional model could follow. 19659003] When we see the rest of it, Musk said during the company's earnings call in January that he might be ready to show it fully this summer, but production is probably several years away. Then, Amazon-supported startup Rivan begins to sell an electric pickup called R1T with similar specifications for Tesla's truck.
