In January, Tesla (TSLA) announced that its long-term chief financial officer Deepak Ahuja will travel and be replaced by another board member in the Finance Act.
The car manufacturer has now officially appointed the new CFO, Zachary Kirkhorn, as well as a new accountant, Vaibhav Taneja, after the position was vacant after several departures in the department during the last year.
Ahuja has been Tesla's CFO in the last decade.
When his retirement (second from Tesla) was announced in January, Tesla said it would be a transitional period to introduce 34-year-old Kirkhorn, who has held several positions in Tesla's finance group over the past 9 years, and Ahuja would continue to advise him.

As part of his agreement, Kirkhorn will receive a $ 12 million share option and a $ 4 million deposit, which will be granted and will vest over four years in accordance with Tesla's standard capital policy."
At the same time, Tesla also appointed a new accountant (CAO); Vaibhav Taneja.
During the past year, Tesla has lost many managers in the finance and accounting department and chief accounting officer.
Tesla first created an accountant in the company in 2016 by hiring Eric Branderiz.
Branderiz left in March 2018, and the position became vacant to Tesla employed Dave Morton from Seagate Technology, but Morton didn't last long.

Now Tesla announced the appointment of Taneja to the role.
