Tesla receives resistance order against TSLA critics who tried to interfere with model 3 test car
The man behind one of the most prominent anti-Tesla accounts on Twitter, @kabooshka, has been issued a temporary restraining order after attempting to cause an accident during a model 3 test car's Navigate on Autopilot demonstration. The noted TSLAQ member shouted at an unknown speed that his vehicle ended up triggering the model's emergency emergency preparedness.
The temporary restriction order was issued by Alameda County Superior Court in CA on Friday, but it is still unknown whether the restriction scheme has been served. In his submission, Tesla claimed that California residents Randeep Hothi, the man who had allegedly been behind the TSLAQ @ kabooshka account on Twitter had "stalked, harassed and threatened" three employees who ran a model 3 in the bay area. The electric car manufacturer noted that this was not the first time that the mentioned short-term commitment is against the company, as he allegedly injured a member of Tesla's security personnel when he was hit by company property violations.
Tesla explains his request for a restraining order as follows (credit to Twitter uses Namelaus to provide screenshots of the documents). The following are excerpts from Tesla's retention order.
Respondent has a story of violation at Tesla's facility, illegal to take photos and video to post on his Twitter account, and other abuse, as explained in the Leslie statement. In recent months, however, the respondent's behavior has escalated and has resulted in violent and frightening confrontations with Tesla employees.
In an incident in February 201[ads1]9, respondent Tesla's security worker Tyler James hit with a car that Mr. James approached Respondent to ask him to leave Tesla's private property. Mr. Tyler suffered minor injuries. The respondent did not stop and flee from the scene. The Fremont Police Department was called and arrived on stage. The department later attempted to issue the respondent with a violation warning, but failed because Respondent had avoided and been cooperative in the face of Fremont policemen.
In recent times, April 16, 2019, Respondent responded, harassed and threatened (three Tesla employees) who drove on the highway in a Tesla-owned model 3 vehicle that were producer plates and mounted with camera equipment . In particular, Responded followed these employees on public roads for about 35 minutes, which otherwise drove in front, next to and behind them, and swung dangerously near the vehicle. Respondent swerved so close to Tesla that the vehicle's side collision security (crash) was the safety feature triggered to engage an emergency maneuver to avoid the collision.
These employees had no prior knowledge of the Respondent's interaction with Tesla, but it turned out that Respondent attempted to disrupt his station, and each feared that the Respondent's behavior would cause a collision and damage them. Fear of their safety and of the safety of the other passengers in Model 3 (a Tesla employee) called the San Francisco Police Department at that time. However, because no officers were in the area, (Tesla employee) eventually did not request an officer to be sent to their location.
April 22, 2019, Tesla arranges an event at its headquarters at 3500 Deer Creek Road, Palo Alto, where Tesla employees will demonstrate car functionality in manufactured coated vehicles on nearby roads. Respondent has expressed interest in this event on Twitter, and his Twitter followers have urged him to try to follow and disturb these stations. Respondent is a vocal Tesla detractor, claiming to be a Tesla seller, and tweets much about his desire to see Tesla (and Autopilot technology) fail. To ensure the safety of Tesla employees and the public, temporary protection is required on April 22, 2019 for any Tesla employee who runs a Tesla vehicle with manufacturer plates within 5 miles of the Tesla headquarters at 3500 Deer Creek Road, Palo Alto. California.
It should be noted that @ skapooshka's actions mentioned by Tesla in its restrictive order interfere with some of the suggestions proposed by TSLAQ community when the noted bear sent pictures of the company's model 3 test car on Twitter. Among these proposals are braking in front of Tesla's test vehicles, and intentionally turning into the electric car's lane to ensure that the company's demonstrations are authentic. Other Tesla bears also joked that it would be fun if the model 3 crashed.
Because of his actions, the said Tesla bearer will now be required to be at least 100 meters away from the Fremont factory or the employees named in Tesla's retention order. He also has to stay 10 meters away from some Tesla vehicles with manufacturer plates within five miles of the factory. The confirmation order is in effect until May 7, when a hearing is canceled.
The ruthless actions of the Tesla critic appeared to have been from a special focus on Tesla's upcoming Autonomy Investor Day on April 22, where the electric car manufacturer is expected to give investors a dive into their full self-propelled initiatives, including their custom hardware 3- computer. Test trips on vehicles equipped with unauthorized features of the Autopilot and the Full Self-Driving package are also expected to be held in the event.
Neither Tesla nor Hothi have responded to requests for comments on media publications such as The Verge although @kabooshka Twitter account boldly declared on Saturday after that "I will not rest. is my promise. Tesla is zero. @elonmusk will go to jail. "Elon Musk, for his part, noted on Twitter that the actions of the said Tesla bear were something he has never seen before.
