This will not help much if you and your car are at opposite ends of a sprawling mall. Nevertheless, it is a major upgrade for Tesla users. Until now, Summon was only useful for forcing in (or out of) a tight parking lot. Now it is viable for many of these shopping trips where your vehicle will not be anywhere near the door.
