Tesla is named new CFO, shares fall

announced on a conference call Wednesday that CFO Deepak Ahuja will resign for a time, and be replaced by CFO Zach Kirkhorn. At the end of a call linked to Tesla's fourth-quarter earnings report, CEO Elon Musk announced that Ahuja would withdraw "in the next few months" and become a senior advisor, and be replaced by Kirkhorn, who has been with Tesla since 2010. Ahuja has previously retired from the automaker in 2015, but returned when replacement Jason Wheeler expired in 201[ads1]7. The Tesla share fell after the announcement, showing a 4% decline in after-sales.
