Tesla Investors Sue Elon Musk For Twitter "Error Messages"

Mr. Musk
A group of Tesla investors sues CEO Elon Musk for what they say has been irregular behavior on Twitter as they say could damage the electric car company and its shareholders.
"Mr Musk has continually ignored all efforts to restore his material misinformation on social media," said Michael Barry, director of the law firm handling the suit, in a statement by CNET . "He has ignored federal legal orders, a settlement with the SEC, and even his company's own corporate policies requiring some of his Tesla tweets to be pre-screened.
Stank Memes
Last year, Musk hit a suit by the US Securities and Exchange Commission by accepting that Tesla would introduce "mandatory procedures" to pre-approve written messages from Musk, as tweets.
But Musk's peculiar behavior on social media continued as he entered memes with words about his name and a picture of his face slammed into Dwayne's "The Rock" Johnson.
Particularly concerned was a tweet in which he claimed that Tesla was on the right track to make "around 500,000" cars in 201[ads1]9, which he later corrected. Teslas lawyers, according to New York Times, admitted that no one from the electric car manufacturer had reviewed the tweet before it was posted.
Tweet Brain
Now Musk's own investors take him to court for his "uncontrolled use of Twitter to make inaccurate statements about the company", according to Bloomberg .
"His behavior has not only cost Tesla shareholders, but threatens to postpone the company for even greater responsibility and litigation in the future," said lawyer Barry, in the same statement obtained by CNET .
