Terry Crews claims that National Enquirer owner American Media Inc. "tried to" put him with false stories of prostitutes after he accused a talent agent in a lawsuit to catch him.
Brooklyn 99 The actor's statement Friday came one day after Jeff Bezos accused AMI leader and chief executive David Pecker of threatening to publish naked pictures of him in the National Enquirer in a blackmail.
"This same company AMI, tried to bring me my lawsuit against @wme and adam venit by making stories about me with prostitutes ̵[ads1]1; and even went so far as to create false receipts," crews tweeted on Friday, according to new york post.

"I called their bluff by releasing their threats online," he said. "The shine."
In 2017, Crews had accused RadarOnline, an AMI withdrawal, of hoteni ng publishing a history report that he had employed two prostitutes during a visit to Monte Carlo.
Crews then said when AMI was trying to scare him from going ahead with the lawsuit.
Crews shared a screenshot of an alleged email from RadarONline seeking comment. The story was never published, as Crews attributes to the fact that it was false.

Last month's inquirer accused Bezos of having an extra spouse case with former TV anchor Lauren Sanchez. Bezos claims that AMI offset the extortion if he did not complete an investigation of the company and its alleged political ties.
Journalist Ronan Farrow said on Friday that he and another journalist have been threatened by the national author to break stories of tabloid ties to the president trump. Pecker's friendship with Trump goes back decades.
