Former Toys ‘R’ Us CEO Gerald Storch joins ‘Cavuto: Coast to Coast’ to discuss falling retail sales as consumers worry about inflation.
Target is recalling about 204,000 Pillowfort Weighted Blankets after two children died after allegedly being “trapped” in the blanket’s cover, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
A recall information page on the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website says a 4-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, reportedly “got caught in the cover of the weighted blanket”[ads1]; and died of suffocation in April 2022.
In total, Target has received “four reports of children being trapped in these weighted blankets,” including the two deaths, according to the commission.
