Taco Bell retrieves steak from some Michigan stores
The "new" menu will contain items that are all American Vegetarian Association certified.

NEW YORK – Taco Bell restaurants in some states are asking customers to try chicken or beef on their burritos after quality considerations pushed it to temporarily stop serving spicy beef.
The company said on Saturday that it told affected restaurants to stop serving spicy beef when it replenishes supplies. The company says the beef did not meet its quality standards. Affected locations are in Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio and elsewhere, although the company could not immediately say how many stores no longer serve spicy beef.
Customers complained on Twitter for not being able to saturate late at night. In a statement, the company apologized for the inconvenience.
