T-Mobile Chief Technology Officer Neville Ray is in doubt about Verizon's 5G network expansion and tweeted that he will see a coverage map . His comments follow Verizon who announced earlier Wednesday expansion of the 5G network to Atlanta, Detroit, Indianapolis and Washington, DC as well as being already live in Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Providence .
5G also already launched in some parts of the United States by T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T, is being tapped by smartphones to provide faster speeds and more capacity.
? On the verge of Verizon revenue, there are some things I have been wondering …
What is Verizon's "secret" 5G plan to extend 5G coverage beyond the mmWave⁉️https: // t limits. co / 5Tbgnk8RZD

"What is Verizon's & # 39; secret & # 39; 5G plan to expand 5G coverage beyond mmWave limits ?!" Ray tweeted, referring to the millimeter-wave high band spectrum used by Verizon for his 5G network.
"Verizon says they want a" multi-spectrum strategy. "So they don't have one now … when will they have one? Tomorrow ?!" he added in another tweet.
T-Mobil's $ 26.5 billion merger with Sprint was OK this week, giving it access to more 5G spectrum bands. Spectrum or radio airwaves make the wireless system work – and by adding spectrum to multiple bands, capacity and speeds will continue to increase.
? Verizon says they launched 5G in 4 more cities, but they still won't tell customers where it is?♂️

Ray expressed doubts that Verizon will be able to deliver gigabit speed 5G with its current spectrum strategy.
"Verizon says their 5G network will continue to have & # 39; the speeds we see now, & # 39;" he also tweeted on Wednesday. "Where does this & # 39; secret & # 39; spectrum come from that will provide Gigabit speeds … AND wide coverage ?!"
Verizon is eligible to announce its quarterly earnings on Thursday.
