NEW YORK (WNCN) – A passenger aboard a flight from RDU to New York on Friday said a suicide woman was trying to open the plane's door as he screamed.
Stacy Herbert tweeted about the incident from aboard the Delta flight 5935.
"Young woman just tried to jump out of the plane. Could not open the door open, of course," Herbert wrote.
Delta 5935 took off from RDU International Airport at 11:54 and landed at LaGuardia at 1:40
Herbert described the woman as in the early 20s.
She tweeted that the woman was trying to open the door when the plane came down in the LGA.
"She screamed her head, and she needed to open the door and die," interpreted Herbert.
Police boarded the plane as it was held on the asphalt.
Police port authority claimed the passengers, CBS2 reported in New York.
A law enforcement source told CBS2 that the woman was accompanied to New York by her father.
"I was not afraid when I knew the door could not be opened, but her screams were scary. And she sat behind us, so when she was pulled back to her seat, it was terrible to see her suicide disorder," Herbert claimed. .
