Subaru remembers Foresters because of airbag problems

Subaru recalls more than 350,000 Forester cars with heated seats because an electric connection in the front passenger seat can loosen and deactivate the airbag even if the seat is occupied.

Subaru said the recall includes Forester cars from 2015 to 2018.

The car manufacturer will notify car owners and dealers to inspect the passenger's detection system feeding harness and have it replaced free of charge if needed.

Owners will be notified of the recall beginning November 29. Replacement parts are not currently available. Another recall notice will be sent when the parts are available.
