Stratolaunch, the world's widest aircraft, takes off on its first flight

Stratolaunch, the world’s largest airplane type wing, has taken off on his virgin flight on Saturday.

The company is currently developing four different rocket systems, which can be launched into space from the mid-wing part of the aircraft. The first launch tests are scheduled for 2020, with a smaller rocket with a payload of up to 816 kg.
