It's an Easter and Easter call.
According to a statement from Shop & Shop, the grocery chain "has just reached new preliminary deals with UFCW Locals 328, 371, 919, 1445 and 1459, representing our 31,000 employees in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island."
The Company said it would be gratifying to see their employees come back to work "when the strike is over."
Stop & Shop says they are three-year deals, subject to ratification by members of each local union.
These agreements include: increased salaries for all employees and continued health coverage for qualified employees. They also include pension benefits for all eligible employees.
"Our employees are top priority, want to restore our stores so we can get back to taking care of our customers and communities and give them the service they deserve," the statement says. "We value patience and understanding to our customers during this time, and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Stop & Shop. "

Employees went on strike 11 days ago. [19659012] The American Food and Trade Worker (UFCW) issued a statement calling the end of the strike that started April 11 a "strong victory."
"We are incredibly grateful to our customers and to all who proudly joined us every day for a contract that invests in the communities we serve, the statement says.
The UFCW Declaration said under the proposed contract, health care and pension benefits are preserved, wage increases are given and time-and-a-half salaries on Sunday for current members will be maintained.
"Today, a powerful victory for the 31,000 hardworking men and women of Stop & Shop who bravely stood up to fight for what all New Englanders want – good jobs, afforda health care, a better salary and to stay treated right by the company they made a success, says the UFCW statement.
