Stop by Verizon causing problems across the country | WTAJ

A Verizon outage caused problems nationwide Thursday, including central Pennsylvania.

Downdetector, a service interruption site, shows a shutdown for Verizon across the country, mostly in the northeast.

According to our news partners, the Center Daily Times, a representative from the Bellefonte Verizon store said they are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it.

Verizon did not make an official statement, but on Twitter they told a customer that the problem was solved and that the device should restart should solve the problem.
