↗️ Biogen (BIIB): The biotech company’s shares rose 2.3% premarket after an advisory committee recommended the Food and Drug Administration approve Leqembi, an Alzheimer’s drug from Biogen and its Japanese partner Eisai.

↗️ Chinook Therapeutics (KDNY): The kidney disease specialist agreed to be bought by the Swiss drugmaker Novartis (NVS) in an all-cash deal worth up to $3.5 billion. Chinook’s stock rose 64% ahead of the opening bell.
