Stitch Fix falls below quarterly revenue estimates, stocks fall
1. October (Reuters) – Stitch Fix Inc's quarterly revenue fell across Wall Street estimates on Tuesday when the active personal styling provider's active customers were disappointed and sent their shares down 10% trading after the clock.
Active clients, a key metric that indicates the total number of users who received a box of clothing in the previous 12 months, rose 18% to 3.2 million in the fourth quarter ended August 3, largely in line with the estimate of 3 , 23 million customers according to an analyst surveyed by FactSet Research.
Revenue rose to $ 432.1 million from $ 318.3 million, slightly lower than the $ 432.3 million estimate, according to IBES data from Refinitive. (Reporting by Akanksha Rana in Bengaluru; Editing by Sriraj Kalluvila)
