Southwest flight makes emergency landing after cabinet pressure, leaving passenger bleeding from ears
A cabinet problem has forced a plane bound to Florida to return to Connecticut Bradley International Airport.
Hartford Courant reports on a southwestern flight from Hartford to Tampa in the evening Friday night, as several passengers complained of pain and discomfort. At least one passenger was bleeding from the ears.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the Boeing 737 pilot reported a possible pressure issue and asked for the landing.
The Airplane returned to Bradley just after 9pm, about an hour after stopping at Tampa International Airport.

Emergency physicians met the plane when landed and treated several passengers. There was no indication that any of the injuries were serious.
Southwest said it removed the plane from service.
