Some environmentalists are punked about Tesla

In general, people have no time to become experts in lots of subjects and cannot follow the news of many different subjects or industries in a cautious and profound way.

So, I understand it, and not everyone who is concerned about our climate catastrophe or political challenges also follows Tesla closely and able to cut through the misleading coverage and eradicate campaigns to get to the deeper stories.

Having said that, I expect a little more from environmentalists than from the average person, so it is disappointing to see that some or many environmentalists have been punched on this topic, on the overall story of this company.

The thing is, just as there are massive oil-based campaigns for erroneous discreditation of climate scientists and climate science, it is massive oil-financed, car-financed, automaker-funded campaigning to abuse and melt Tesla errors. They are partly aimed at the same Fox News look at people who buy into the climate science radiates, but they are also aimed at demographics that would otherwise be great populations for Tesla adoption.

As some examples, it is very climate-worried Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has recently extinguished a strange anti-Tesla slam (apparently, has absorbed some common messages aimed at conservatives, not even progressive), Elizabeth Warren retweeted a perhaps otherwise good article from New York Times which unfortunately contained Elon Musk most prominent among highly paid tech CEOs in 2018 – although Elon Musk had a net negative salary last year . Is it warren's fault that New York Times says that Elon Musk had made $ 2.3 billion last year and she believes it? No, not really, but she got punked and there is something progressive having to watch out for. Tesla is a goal as much as they are targets for their political opposition, if not more! No doubt, these leading progressive voices – and many who follow them – gets punked in an anti-Tesla bias. The company has accelerated a transition from fossil fuels perhaps more than any other company on the planet. Not only has it sold hundreds of zero emission vehicles, it has also been the main force that stimulates much faster electrification of the rest of the automotive industry (other automakers have been electrifying much faster because of both inspiration and fear). Tesla is in itself probably an important reason why China has such strong electric vehicle policies, and Europe has such strong vehicle emission policies.

Progressives like Warren and AOC want a quick climate action, but they seem to put Tesla in the "bad" box due to erroneous but effective messages coming out of the oil and automotive industry, as well as some technical critics – people who think to be critical of every major technology agency, which involves some kind of systematic bias or prejudice

Part of the problem – a great Part of the problem – are the huge journalistic outfits that are critical to the social evolution in other ways, especially on political issues, the world fails on the theme of Tesla. It is a bit of a mystery, but there are different possibilities: they have simply had difficulty seeing through deceptive claims sent their way; their colleagues in the economy, business or auto world have destroyed their thoughts, and possibly their hearts in some cases; They were biased after Elon Musk had attacked journalists in a fairly broad-brushed and careless manner a couple of times; It is editorial and institutional bias due to the fact that all advertising-conventional automobiles do so in the mass media; People are just envious and bitter. It is difficult to say, even in each case, but these are some frequently postulated reasons for the broad media bias towards Tesla in the economic press and the general media more generally.

This is a big problem, in my opinion, not only for Tesla, but also for the important work that other journalists do. We are in an unprecedented crisis in American history with dictatorially inclined Donald Trump. We have never seen anything like the current attacks by Trumpists (it's hard to call them Republicans) on the bedrock of democracy and American values ​​of honesty, justice and logic. We need more people to trust and act on the good work that many political journalists do. Unfortunately, the bad record that LA Times New York Times CNBC MSNBC and other shows at Tesla are pushing people away from these journalistic companies altogether. And for what? Why? Because they push the propaganda itself, they must be dismantled.

People are very eager for others to do their part of climate change. Climate activists are excited about the entire business model of oil companies such as Exxon and Chevron. Still, if we pause for a moment and consider it, how many of them are yet to release their dirty petrol cars and switch to clean electric cars like Teslas? How many of them find a way to justify it even though Exxon should shut down? How many of them propaganda propaganda to these oil companies against Tesla? How many people avoid driving a better, more fun, faster, safer, cooler car just because … oil companies have punked them to believe that Tesla is evil? How many of them realize a Tesla Model 3 can often be cheaper than a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry, let alone a BMW 3 Series.

It will be difficult for us to solve our social crisis if non-climatic consumers and politicians do not come alongside the most positively influential climate problems on the world.
