Sneak peek at LI’s first recreational cannabis dispensary before the grand opening
Long Island’s first recreational marijuana dispensary is set to open this weekend.
Strain Stars is ready for a grand opening on Saturday with a DJ and food trucks.
Strain Stars CEO Yuvraj Singh says those looking to come out should expect a line.
“From the support we’ve gotten, it looks like it’s going to be a big turnout,” says Singh.
Customers who must be 21[ads1] years of age or older will be met by one of the 15 employees to help them make their purchase.
There is a daily limit of 3 ounces on purchases.
Strain Stars say they want extra armed security both inside and outside the store.
Employees have been working to open the store for over two years.
“We’re here to set an example,” says Strain Star’s Chief Operating Officer Kamaldeep Singh
Strain Stars opens at 12 noon and closes at 8 pm
