Shares rise as the income season passes large banks
US stock indices rose on Tuesday as investors reviewed a new batch of earnings to gain insight into the state of the economy.
The S&P 500 increased 1%. The technology-focused Nasdaq Composite rose 1.2% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.7%. US stocks fell on Monday.
