Seattle home attracts fewer bids as the market cools
SEATTLE (AP) – Seattles days as the real estate market where housing attracts more bids, slow.
Seattle Times reports at some point last year, 92 percent of homes sold in the city represented more bidders. 19659002] In November, only 21 percent of the sold cities had more bidders, according to Redfin, a real estate agency.
This is the lowest price since the company began to track in 2011.
In February, Seattle led a nation in sales with more than one bidder. Seattle now has the lowest bidding war among cities traced by Redfin.
The change gives buyers better terms and time to think about their possible purchases.
Cooling of the market is due to several factors, including flat leases and smaller investment money from buyers in China.
