Let's be honest, Thanksgiving is not the only time of year we eat too much and then get out on the couch. In fact, average Americans spend about nine whole days a year after a demand for the meal.

If you want to dine out for Thanksgiving dinner, Des Moines restaurants have you covered.
According to the National Restaurant Association, one out of 10 people plans to eat out for a Thanksgiving meal. And one of the 20 will have a full meal to celebrate your vacation.

There are many dining options on the subway that will be open and serve everything from anywhere
Here are the restaurants on the subway where you can get your Thanksgiving dinner.

AJs serves a multi-course Thanksgiving prix fix dinner for $ 39 per person from kl. 11.00 to 9.00. The mains include spicy turkey fillet and honey-orange smoked ham with appetizers, sides and desserts. Select a la carte menu items will also be served. Reservations can be made by phone or OpenTable.

Cracker Barrel is open to regular Thanksgiving opening times and will again offer their Homestyle Turkey Dressing Meals for guests in the store starting at 11.00 (adult, $ 12.99; children, $ 7.99). Order turkey and dressing meal with sauce, sugar-hardened ham, sweet potato pancakes with pecan nuts, cranberries, sweetcorn cakes, corn muffins, pumpkin pie and a refillable beverage. Guests can also order from the menu from kl. 06:00 to 22:00.

Fletcher in Ankeny will host their Thanksgiving Day buffet. Feast of turkey and other chef entrees, two kinds of filling, sweet potatoes, gouda potatoes, green bean stew, cranberry sauce, salads, smoked salmon and peel-and-eat prawns. Desserts are pecan and pumpkin pies and apple cobbler. This year the buffet runs from kl. 9 o'clock Adults pay $ 29, seniors $ 23, children 12 and under $ 15 and children under 5 years are free.

Granit City serves a family with a family in Thanksgiving dinner from kl. 11.00 to 8.00. Guests can enjoy a three course menu of roast turkey, salmon béarnaise and fried-braised short ribs with all fixings including mashed potatoes, filling, sauce and cranberry chutney, served family style for $ 26.95 per person. Children eat for $ 8.99. For dessert you can enjoy homemade pumpkin or pecan pie. This marks the sixth year Granite City has been open on Thanksgiving.

Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet will offer a buffet of traditional Thanksgiving dishes like turkey and pumpkin pie, but if you are looking for seafood, the buffet offers such dishes as grilled octopus and steamed mussels . The buffet will run during its usual hours from kl. 11 to 09:30. and the buffet is $ 12.99 per person.
Various places over the subway
Most Hy-Vee food stores are planning to be open on Thanksgiving. At places with Market Grille restaurants you can enjoy Thanksgiving dishes from noon. 11.00 to 2.00. Call ahead to make sure your location will be open and served.

Machine Shed throws a fundraiser in favor of Wildwood Hills Ranch from 10:00 to 2:00 with at least $ 15 donation for adults and $ 7 for children under 12 years. Turkey, dressing, mashed potato, sauce, corn and pumpkin pie are among the dishes. A volunteer staff makes this buffet possible. A four-day withdrawal dinner is also available for $ 64.99.
