US Stock Exchange futures pointed to a lower open Tuesday morning as investors watched global trade developments and looked forward to revenue releases from companies like Apple.
As of Dow futures, 70 points traded lower, indicating a negative open of 90.22 points. S & P 500 and Nasdaq futures were also in the red.

In terms of financial data, consumer confidence figures of 10 will be ET as well as fourth quarter housing vacancies. Dallas Fed Services numbers will be out at 10:30 ET.
The Federal Reserve will begin its two-day meeting Tuesday with a decision on the interest rate on Wednesday.
