In just a few months, the Powerball lottery jackpot has grown to nearly $500 million. Hard to believe that in April it was $20 million. While it’s not in the top 10 Powerball jackpots of all time (see below), it’s still a lot of dough.
Powerball numbers for Wednesday June 28: 19-25-34-57-68 and Powerball was 4. Power Play was 5x. No one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, so the jackpot rolled over (again!) to $493 million.

How long has the Powerball been rolling over?
This Powerball jackpot has been rolling over since April 22nd. Before that, a ticket bought in Ohio matched the six numbers to win the Wednesday, April 19 lottery jackpot of $252.6 million, with a cash option of $134.6 million. The prize was collected by the Crazy Luck Trust with John Krajewski as trustee. It was Ohio’s fifth-largest jackpot prize, news reports show, and the ticket was purchased at the GetGo Cafe and Market in Macedonia, Ohio.
While $252.6 million is lot of money, the main prize was not the top 10 lottery jackpots for Powerball or Mega Millions (see below).
