Craft Culture Concepts, the parent company of Parlor Pizza and Pints, announced Sunday that it has purchased the 30-year-old Chubby Ray’s restaurant in J-Town. They will reopen the pizza restaurant as Parlor’s fifth location this spring. After three decades in business, “Chubby” Ray Perkins has decided to “turn the page on a new chapter,” according to a press release. Parlour’s parent company did not specify a date for when it will reopen under its new concept, but it said it would retain any current employees who choose to stay with the brand.
