Popular Faben’s eatery closed after a break-in overnight
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A popular Fabens business is closed Saturday, July 8 after being burglarized early Saturday morning, the operators said in a Facebook post.
Beans and Burritos, 919 Fabens Road, reported it was broken into around 4:40 a.m. Saturday by two people who appeared on surveillance video.
The operators of the business are asking the community for help in identifying the culprits.
– We are sad that we had to go through this. They took the register, they took the donation box for HEARTS FOR HEARTS which contained money as well. We are extremely emotional. Beans and Burritos in the Fabens community is always giving back, donating, sponsoring. Helping in every possible way! And some kids come in and take everything and destroy what took so much effort,” the owners said in a statement sent to KTSM.
